ART (Amazing Representations of Truth™)

Janet’s life work has been capturing a moment in time in photos, paintings, and illustrations. She has worked 20 years in the creative arts industry as a graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, and artist.

Inspired by nature and the glow of natural lighting she creates images that convey a story bigger than the image. In the last 2 years she has photographed business events, four weddings, and hundreds of expressive faces.

Her published art and nature stories are illustrated with original paintings, photos, and musical videos.

Flowers in the Fog : These flowers are along trails, roads and gardens in and around Pacifica. On cloudy and foggy days, there is no glare nor cast shadows. The fog and low light conditions often soften the focus. Colors and shapes form each composition, with the focus on the flower.

Asian Style Paintings : These paintings are done with sumi ink on rice paper. Some have a light touch of water colors. I usually paint scenes and subject matter in the United States rather than the traditional Asian subjects (even though I was trained and studied the traditional way). I sign the with my initials and the month and year painted.
